Unity to Win the World John 17:20-23 (New International Version) "My prayer is not for them
alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their
message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and
I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that
you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that
they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be
brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and
have loved them even as you have loved me. Write Comment (2 Comments) |

Isolation The bible speaks of isolation as both
bad and good. It is sinful for a believer or community of believers
to isolate themselves from other believers. However, when a follower
of God is isolated because of righteous distinction, the Lord is
pleased. It is important for God's children to discern the impetus
for separation. The motivation determines a course of unity or
disengagement.

Challenge One Another with Respect Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three come together in my name, there
am I with them." The body of Christ is comprised of those twos and
threes coming together. Each set contains imperfect humans. Sin,
disappointment and differences are inevitable. God foresaw this and
gave mechanisms, commands and principles to His people so that they
could live in unity. Three select scriptures give us an understanding
of God’s heart toward challenging and humbling ourselves before one
another. Write Comment (0 Comments) |
