Alan Rouse writes of a new cooperation proposal for ICOC churches. Although the document points to its lengthier predecessor (see footnote 7), it allows for more latitude at the local level and more of a nod to biblical authority providing the final result in any matter. As Jesus taught during the Sermon on
the Mount he touched on many subjects – hatred, lust, prayer,
fasting, etc... However, Jesus did not fail to address a two key
elements which retard faith – love of money and worry. In Matthew 6
(19-34), Jesus connects these two sins.
