 Holman Publishing has released “The Apologetics Study Bible”, a Holman
Christian Standard Bible translation teeming with logical arguments
concerning the faith, book introductions and commentary. For the
beginning student of apologetics, it offers the primary biblical
defenses setup by top evangelical minds. Unfortunately, some of the
commentaries and features fall short in doctrinal accuracy due to an
undue Protestant (as opposed to biblical) bent.

Help! I need a church history time line
for a class I will teach. You would think that to be an easy task,
but here are the requirements.
- Must include the Restoration
Movement, and the three main branches – church of Christ,
Christian Church, Disciples of Christ.
- Must include a reasonable
evolution for the Baptist church.
- Must include proper reunifications
of branches
- Must include some detail about main brances of Anabaptists.
- Dates Must be included as well.
I once saw a wonderful interactive
chart / time line on a church history site, but am unable to find it
anymore. If you have any suggestions, please post them here or
contact me.

 Some scriptures (NIV) on which to meditate:
1 Chronicles 16:34 Give thanks to
the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
1 Chronicles 16:35 Cry out, "Save
us, O God our Savior; gather us and deliver us from the nations,
that we may give thanks to your holy name, that we may glory in your
praise."
Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength
and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart
leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.
Psalm 30:12 that my heart may sing
to you and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks
forever.
