The Christian Standard, a publication of the Christian Churches, has a series of articles (listed below) about mega-churches within their family of congregations. Statistics and ideology are also included with the write ups. Outreach Magazine sited 8 Christian Churches / churches of Christ within their top 100 edition for growth. The articles indicate a flexible attitude toward innovative techniques and strategies to win the lost while not compromising core convictions concerning theology and salvation doctrine.

True & Reasonable
How many times have you heard (or read) someone pointing to a passage in the Bible as 'The most important scripture you will ever read'? How about elevating one biblical concept above another? How can we read the Bible, obey it and (to the best of our abilities) not skew our obedience to a narrow array of verses?

What Debate?
The Christian Standard is running an essay by Mark Atteberry concerning salvation entitled, “What's the Debate About?” Brother Atteberry questions salvation by the “Sinner's Prayer” and faith alone. His five biblical points hit the nail on head and challenge salvation methods which do not include belief, repentance, evangelism, immersion and continued obedience. It is worth reading, not only to help those who (sincerely) believe in the faith alone doctrine, but to prevent the spread of this doctrine wihtin the Restoration Movement.
