HISB When studying my bible, I often find my desk overrun with with a myriad
of study helps. Books about history, archeology, geography, literary
features, etc... Each tome is helpful in piecing together a complete
picture of the book or verse(s) I am studying. Going from folio to
folio can be tedious, time consuming and distracting. “The Holman
Illustrated Study Bible” (HISB) eliminates much of the need for
multiple books.

Dt 11:19 Deuteronomy 11:19 Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
Occasionaly my older son requests his weekend devotional be done in a slide show presentation. Here are a few of the studies we have done using pictures and bullet points. These devos are suitable for elementary school children. If you do not have PowerPoint, I can convert these to an OpenOffice format. Some of them are rather large and may take a while to download. Feel free to give me your feedback, suggestions or other ideas for kids' s devotionals. The links are below: One Body Marriage Conversion Love Your Enemies

Conflict & resolution Philipians 4:2-3 reads,
I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to agree with each other
in the Lord. Yes, and I ask you, loyal yokefellow, help these women who
have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with
Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book
of life.
