Romans 14 tells us to be careful of judging others in disputable matters. What one man considers holy or sinful (outside of what the Bible explicitly defines) may not be considered special at all by another. So be it. To force a matter of opinion can destroy faith. If the Bible is silent on the subject, it is better to let it go than to have someone violate their conscience. In silence, one may have to appeal to their conscience and level of faith to decide.
Please note; although conscience and one's level of faith are important tools in determining direction, they are secondary to the Word's explicit commands. If there is a command or direction already stated in the Bible, there is no need to appeal further since it is not silence or a matter of opinion.
