What Debate?

The Christian Standard is running an essay by Mark Atteberry concerning salvation entitled, “What's the Debate About?” Brother Atteberry questions salvation by the “Sinner's Prayer” and faith alone. His five biblical points hit the nail on head and challenge salvation methods which do not include belief, repentance, evangelism, immersion and continued obedience. It is worth reading, not only to help those who (sincerely) believe in the faith alone doctrine, but to prevent the spread of this doctrine wihtin the Restoration Movement.

That's a very clear statement of accurate salvation doctrine from someone outside the ICOC and outside the mainline churches of Christ. Examples like this are very helpful in making people aware that we aren't the only ones teaching this. Thanks for pointing out this example.
