Tom Jones (not the Welsh heartthrob) gives his perspective on Restoration Forum XXV. Gregg Marutzky and Tom fielded questions during a Q & A session about the ICOC after a “What’s Happening with the International Churches of Christ” update class. Tom makes a profound comment about unity and its purpose.
“I went with a concern that there might be an emphasis on unity just for the sake of unity, but several speakers went out of their way to make it clear that unless unity results in greater efforts to carry out the mission of taking the gospel to the world, it will not serve God’s purposes.”
I would like to thank Tom and Gregg for their efforts to facilitate unity within the Restoration Movement. They maintain a website, Connect 4 Change which encourages developing relationships among those in the Restoration Movement.
