ImageJohn Mark Hicks writes of "Baptismal Rapprochement Between Southern Baptists and Churches of Christ?" An intriguing look into the differences and common ground between the churches of Christ and the Baptists on baptism. I have found more Baptists using soteriological language today than in the past.  More church of Christ individuals are divorcing baptism from instant salvation and seeing a need for faith, repentance and transformation as part of the process of salvation. Both of the aforementioned deviations are just that - anomalies in their respective camps.

Read the John Mark Hick's blog. What are your thoughts? What scriptures back up your thoughts?
