Some of the disunity among Restoration Movement churches can find its cause in gossip. Misinformation and misconceptions flow freely without challenge. We retreat into our own fellowship and do not attempt to apply Proverbs 18:17 by challenging our preconceptions. Let us walk away from gossip about our brothers. Do not participate in forums, blogs, email chains, etc... which degrade the children of God. Investigate primary sources and do not rely on what others tell you. Cut off gossip and will wither on the vine.
