Baptism

DouglasJacoby.com recently featured a link to a Restoration Quarterly article entitled, "Churches of Christ and Baptism: An Historical and Theological Overview." Douglas Foster explores nuances of the church of Christ approach to baptism, salvation, obedience, faith and timing. Brother Foster notes many of the variations and baptismal requirements which have appeared over the years. This is strictly a paper on the background of baptism within the context of the church of Christ, not a Bible study on the subject.
